Hardy-in-Wonderland

Hello all, how times are a changing!
I have completed year two of my Fine Art degree, and am now set to go and study in France for a year, where I intend to begin animation, video and maybe even installation work.

Exciting!

I have many things to upload, but it'll take a while because my own computer is about to be packed up for the summer until I can transfer it all to a laptop.

(Taking a desk top to France could prove difficult)

Yes my friends, the cast is off!
It has been replaced with a boot that resembles the attire of Darth Vader and/or a cyber goth, which in my opinion can only be a good thing.

Currently trying to teach myself to walk again, which is proving difficult, but I will overcome this temporary problem in no time at all I'm sure of it.

I'll have to embroider the boot or something to cheer me up...

Now, you wouldn't have thought breaking your leg and snapping a load of ligaments in your ankle would be a positive thing, but it has had many positive outcomes.

Outcomes such as flowers, loads of symptahy, sweets, many a film night, and other such wonerdous things.

More importantly, I now have all the time in the world to draw and then draw some more, which is really, really nice!
Though I suppose doing a fine art degree I was drawing all the time anyway, but that's besides the point.

Other positives include spending tons of quality time with friends, and being able to design my cast and make it a walking/ hopping advertisment for my art.

PLease note, I do not recommend breaking your leg, as it is a) highly painful and b) very annoying. I'm just searching for a little positivity.
